Do you love dinosaurs!?!? Join Dinosaur expert Tim Jeffries who has been studying and researching dinosaurs for over 14 years! He will be showing off some of the things he has discovered and share his wealth of knowledge with all you dino enthusiasts. This is a drop in program.

Help us celebrate the kickoff to Summer. Join the Port Hope Public Library, Town of Port Hope and Port Hope Police Services for a super fun event! We will have a bouncy castle and face painting as well as a bike Rodeo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Richard Scarry's book called Cars and Trucks and Things Than Go! So bring your Bike! There will be bike and helmet inspections and a Food Truck too! PRIZES! WIN A BIKE!!!

Self-esteem programming for girls ages 8-12 years to learn skills for building positive connections and friendships with others! This program is in partnership with Rebound Child and Youth Services of Northumberland and is facilitated by staff from this organization. Please pre-regsiter with Rebound at www.rcys.ca/calendar. 

Join Volunteers from the League for Green Leaders and learn about the importance of wetlands to our environment and then build your own wetland in a pan. Please pre-register for this program by emailing registrations@phpl.ca 

Join us outside in Rotary Park beside the Library for a Construction Story time! We will read a couple of Construction related books and then children can go explore the construction vehichle that the Town of Port Hope brings. We will be sitting on the grass so feel free to bring something to sit on if you prefer. This is a drop in program.

Join Lee Higginson for a photography workshop that will focus on architectural pictures of the Library, both inside and out. This is in partnership with the Port Hope Agricultural Society and the Port Hope Fair. The Library is a category in this years Fair photography section. You may choose to enter the pictures you take in the Fair for a chance to win a prize! Bring your cell phone and/or DSLR camera. Please pre-register for this even at registrations@phpl.ca
