Join us in the Program Room for a hour of playing, reading, snack and singing. We might even bring out the parachute!
This is a drop in program and is inteded for families with children over the age of 1 and under 4.
This group will read and process various works of literature. Groups topics will focus on resilience, coping skills, hope and wellness. All reading material will be provided and read out loud in the group. No preparation is needed from participants ahead of time. Participants do not need to read as the literature will be presented. Discussion on the literature will relate the stories read to our own lives and discuss ideas in the group.
Join us in the program room for Toddlers and Waddlers. We will play, read, have a snack and sing songs. We may even bring out the parachute!
This is a drop in program for families/guardians with children who are over 1 year of age and under 4.
This FREE 2.5 hour course will provide youth ages 10-14 with the skills and knowledge that will assist them in being confident about staying home alone. Through interactive games and activities participants will learn about how to stay safe in various situations and what to do in case of an emergency.

Drop in for some Lego fun! We have buckets of lego for you to play with. Come meet up with some friends or meet some new ones!
We will explore different mindfulness techniques geared towards children. This is in partnership with Northumberland Hills Hospital Community Mental Health Services.
Come to PHPL and make a salad in a jar! This is a DIY workshop where you will get to choose, chop and make your own salad in a jar to take home. Registered Dietician Juliana will be here to help and teach you all about the food that you are preparing to add to your jar.

Join Lee Higginson for a fun spin on self portraits! This program is designed for 8 - 12 year olds.

Join us every Monday for Babytime. This is intended for children up to one year of age. We will sing songs, read books, blow bubbles and play.
Please note: The LIbrary is closed on Holidays so if Babytime falls on a holiday Monday it will not be running
