No contact pickup service is available for those not comfortable with in-person service Monday thru Friday from 10 am to 4 pm in the parking lot of the Mary J. Benson Branch. Items must be returned in the Book Drops. All items can be placed on hold online or by calling the branch. Please wait for your confirmation notification stating that your items are ready for pickup. (Reminder the Book Drops are OPEN. Good time to return any overdue books since we are not charging overdue fines until late September.)
Live Edge End Table Auction, Friends of the Library Fundraiser
FOL is auctioning off a live edge end table. Bids can be made in person, or you can bid online. Bidding increments of a minimum $10. Bid amounts will be followed here or call 905-885-4712 to check on your bid. The current bid is the reserve bid of $120. The auction closes on Saturday October 24 at 1 pm, the end of Ontario Public Library Week. The Friends of the Library thank everyone for their participation in support of your public library.
The Library maintains 2 Little Free Libraries at Memorial & Albert Street parks. On display are three new Little Free Libraries. A collaboration with Northumberland Sunrise Rotary (construction), Critical Mass (artists) & Parks and Recreation (installation). They were created by Kali Stadke, inspired by Alice in Wonderland; Eli Gibson, inspired by kawaii (Japanese for “cute”) and siblings Alex and Kelly Kirkham
