Suspension of Inter-library loan services in Ontario
The Provincial Government cuts to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport have resulted in the budget of the Ontario Library Service being slashed by 50%. This means there will no longer be an inter-library loan courier service in the Province of Ontario as of April 26, 2019. Inter-library loan requests etc. are suspended until May 31, 2019 as further decisions about these services are made.
Please contact MPP David Piccini, the Minister or the Premier if you have concerns about these cuts to public library service.
