Too many pages and not enough time?

No worries – most Library material is renewable & we'll do it for you.

In addition to the original 3-week loan, most Library material can be renewed twice, giving you 9 weeks to enjoy your choices. New Fiction and DVDs, on 7 day loan, are renewable for up to two extra weeks. For your convenience Port Hope Public Library will automatically renew items if they are not returned by the due date. Please sign up for email notifications which will confirm for you which items have been renewed and which items should be returned.

You may still renew items:

• when you visit the Library and present your library card
• online by accessing your account through the Library catalogue
• by phoning 905.885.4712 and giving your library card number

The following items are not renewable:

• Any item that another patron has requested
• Interlibrary loans
